I am officially touring the coffee shops of San Diego for multiple purposes besides my addiction. Best of San Diego 2008 named Starbucks the #1 coffee shop in San Diego. This is a problem for me. Coffee shops should not just be for hipsters and bloggers and if you think Starbucks has the best coffee in town, I would either A.) think that you enjoy the taste of gasoline mixed with sugar or B.) You've never been to Caffe Carpe Diem. Do you ever wonder what they put in a sugar-free cinnamon Dolce Syrup?
Mmm chemical calories are such a treat. Whenever I hustle my momma for drinking sugar free coffees she says "At least I don't put coke up my nose!" How about some delicious chemicals directly into your digestive tract?
Creatives, tweeties, bloggers, buzz addicts need a place where we can sit for hours and hours in comfort.
My favorites:
Free parking
I spend $2 on tea and sit for hours without being bothered.
Delicious tempting treats.
Comfy seats.
Cool air.
Delicious coffee.
Today I am at Lestat's in Normal Heights.
Great vibe but the flies are irritating and the weather is equally irritating.
Any coffee shops with air conditioning? Be green without being annoying. Heat = buzzkill.
Also, I have to find a place that serves cappuccino that may rival Giovanni's in Parma, Italia.
The mission continues and I need hints. Tweet me a spot to taste, enjoy and create.
Also, I often forget my iPod and I need music to create, so please I will take a large iced americano w/ an add shot whipped cream and a side of ambient beats.
Namaste and drops of cappuccino.
